Frankie and Carla two years in to their Being with Horses journey. Frankie started opening up more and more, and their bond grew stronger to where they could go on walks outside with nothing but a neckrope, and start going on rides together. Carla learned that Frankie was a quite conservative and skeptical horse, who could totally refuse, explode, or take off if over-faced, especially in relation to riding. Carla had to learn how to be patient, and give him a calm security both from the ground and his back so that he could feel safe.
